Honey Soy Chicken

This honey soy chicken recipe has just the right amount of sweet and savory. When you mix honey and soy sauce together, you get a sticky glaze that covers the soft chicken breasts. This is a great dish for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side

Pour the honey soy sauce mixture over the chicken in the skillet

Reduce heat to medium-low and let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened

Garnish with sesame seeds if desired

Serve hot and enjoy!
