Whistle Stop Potatoes



Stop the whistle You can serve potatoes with any meal because they are tasty and easy to make. A mix of herbs and spices are added to thinly sliced onions and potatoes, and then they are baked until golden and crispy. When you add Parmesan cheese, it makes it taste even better.

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

In a large bowl, toss sliced potatoes and onions with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and dried thyme until evenly coated

Arrange the seasoned potatoes and onions in a single layer on a baking sheet

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and golden brown, flipping halfway through

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes during the last 5 minutes of baking

Once done, remove from oven and serve hot
