Whistle Stop Potatoes



Stop the whistle You can serve potatoes with any meal because they are tasty and easy to make. A mix of herbs and spices are added to thinly sliced onions and potatoes, and then they are baked until golden and crispy. When you add Parmesan cheese, it makes it taste even better.

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

In a large bowl, toss sliced potatoes and onions with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and dried thyme until evenly coated

Arrange the seasoned potatoes and onions in a single layer on a baking sheet

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and golden brown, flipping halfway through

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes during the last 5 minutes of baking

Once done, remove from oven and serve hot

Garlic Herb Roasted Chicken



This garlic herb roasted chicken recipe is a simple yet flavorful dish that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. The combination of garlic and herbs infuses the chicken with delicious flavors, while roasting in the oven ensures juicy and tender meat.

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

Olive oil, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dried oregano should all be mixed together in a small bowl

Put chicken breasts on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it

Spread the garlic and herb mix out on each chicken breast

Add pepper and salt

After the oven is hot, bake the chicken for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and the juices run clear

Warm up and serve

Honey Soy Chicken



This honey soy chicken recipe has just the right amount of sweet and savory. When you mix honey and soy sauce together, you get a sticky glaze that covers the soft chicken breasts. This is a great dish for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat

Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side

Pour the honey soy sauce mixture over the chicken in the skillet

Reduce heat to medium-low and let the chicken simmer in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened

Garnish with sesame seeds if desired

Serve hot and enjoy!
