Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups M&M candies
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line baking sheets with parchment paper
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in the rolled oats and M&M candies, distributing them evenly throughout the dough
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
